Toronto – For the fifth time, Manulife has been recognized as having one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures by Waterstone Human Capital. Waterstone identifies organizations for having winning cultures that drive performance. Manulife also holds a spot in Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures™ Hall of Fame.

“We know our people are our most important asset and our culture is a sustainable long-term competitive advantage,” said Naveed Irshad, President and CEO of Manulife Canada. “Our industry-leading policies, a commitment to wellness and diversity, equity and inclusion, and a high performing culture help make Manulife a destination employer and a great place to work, and we’re proud to receive this distinguished award for our efforts.”

Waterstone Human Capital is a leading cultural talent management firm and founded the Canada’s Most Admired Awards program to recognize top organizations who see culture as their greatest asset. Winners are chosen annually and evaluated on key performance areas such as vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for culture; people development and talent management; cultural alignment and measurement; diversity, equity, and inclusion; corporate social responsibility; and organizational performance.

“These awards recognize the very best in corporate culture – those leaders and organizations that have built and nurtured performance-driven cultures and that are at the forefront of culture best practices,” said Marty Parker, President and CEO of Waterstone Human Capital and Chair of the Canada’s Most Admired™ program. “This year’s winners actively craft high-performance cultures and serve as an inspiration for others who want to do the same.”

Manulife was recognized for its dedication to leading change, fostering growth and internal promotion opportunities, providing colleagues with opportunities for learning and development, and prioritizing psychological safety to inspire colleagues to bring their true selves to work.
