Manulife Asset Management announces that it has appointed Nurdiaz ‘Alvin’ Pattisahusiwa as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for its Indonesian business, PT. Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI). The appointment is effective immediately.
Based in Jakarta, Alvin oversees a team of 12 equity and fixed income professionals, together managing more than US$3.3 billion in assets under management. He reports to Legowo Kusumonegoro, President Director of MAMI. Alvin also forms a key part of Manulife Asset Management’s pan-Asian investment team which manages approximately US$46 billion of assets.
Alvin is an investment veteran with more than 15 years’ experience in the Indonesian asset management industry. He joins PT. Manulife Aset Managemen from PT. BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he was Head of Equities and a member of their Board of Directors.
Commenting on the appointment, Legowo Kusumonegoro said: “Alvin joins us at an important time in our company’s development.
