Manulife ASEAN Achievers’ Summit 2009 To Be Held in Bali, Indonesia for the First Time

Bali - Bali is to play host to Manulife’s ASEAN Achievers’ Summit 2009, an annual event designed to recognize the achievements of the top 150 agents from each of the six ASEAN countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Each country will be represented by 25 agents who are eligible to attend the prestigious event to be held from November 6-8, 2009.

To be among the top 150 of 15,000 agents across ASEAN territories is no small feat. It takes focus, sheer determination, perseverance, and hard work. The requirement for the Top 150 agents to qualify for this ASEAN Achievers’ Summit mirrors the strenuous Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifications.

Besides discovering Bali through team activities, the participants will also be able to take part in the seminar “Master Your Mind through Quantum Breakthroughs” presented by Adam Koo. Mr. Koo is a best-selling author and a peak performance trainer. He was also a self-made millionaire by the age of 26 and now a multi-millionaire at the age of 34, he owns and runs three different companies with a combined annual turnover of $20 million.

“This is the first time that Indonesia, particularly Bali, has been selected as the place for the Manulife ASEAN Achievers’ Summit. We are very proud and honored to have Bali as the location of this prestigious event,” said David Beynon, Manulife Indonesia’s President Director.  “We look forward to our agents being able to share experiences and opportunities with their top-performing counterparts from the other ASEAN nations. I hope this event will also inspire our Bali Marketing Office to continue to explore all the business opportunities that this attractive island has to offer,” added Mr. Beynon.

Besides David Beynon, this event will also be attended by Philip Hampden-Smith, Executive Vice President and GM, South East Asia Operations; Nelly Husnayati, Executive Vice President and Chief Agency Officer, and Patrick Atkins, VP Agency, both with Manulife Indonesia; and Endang Suparmi, Head of Bali Marketing Office.
